Be the best you can, but it’s not always possible in the Army. I always consider myself to be happy with my life as it is, but it’s difficult to think about anything else when there are serious issues to address.

Even, I strive for something more profound and meaningful.

As a result, we’re all bombarded with issues. To be honest, it shouldn’t disturb or even discourage us from being everything that we should be. Aspirations to childhood can live on in us, even if they are fleeting or only last as long as we can hold on to the dream. Is it true that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?

What Makes You Really Tick?

1. What do I truly desire?

The age-old question.

So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to do them in.

Finding something you’re good at can help you take that first step toward bettering yourself.

Diligence is essential in determining whether or not it is worthwhile.

2. Should I really make a change?

Current generation has gone a step further in redefining “self”.

Having a slew of adolescent nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things they could have had than acne or even promiscuity. So, how does that fit into your daily routine?

If history has taught us anything, it is that life is difficult. Consider whether or not partying in the Seventies style would appeal to today’s youth, but dancing is a part of partying. Watch them applaud after you show them how to dance properly rather than breaking their bones with break-dancing.

3. What is the glimmer of hope in all of this?

With so much going on around us, it appears that there is no time to even consider the light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive if it is not subjected to as much scrutiny. And if there’s a train at the end of the tunnel, hop on board and discover what makes the world go round!

4. Am I at ease with what I’m doing?

When it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, purse, shirt, and so on, there is always the easy way and the right way. It does not take a genius to identify your own uniqueness; otherwise, we would all be the same in everything we do. Variety brings with it a plethora of intriguing and exciting questions to be explored.

5. Have I given myself enough credit?

Have you finished all of your tasks, or do you have any other plans? Dissatisfaction in all aspects can be dangerous in large doses, but in small doses, you’ll be able to see and do things you never thought possible.

6. Am I content with where I am now?

It’s an immoral question, so let it be answered! If you enjoy being a good and loving parent to your children, step it up a notch! For the rest of their lives, your children will adore you. The same is true in everyday life!

7. Am I attempting to appeal to the opposite sex?

So, while I may not have an answer to that, that doesn’t mean I can’t try. Whether you slim down, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude toward others, remember that it is always for your own benefit.

8. How much money could I possibly have?

I suppose there is no such thing as having too much or too little in this case, but it is more about how badly you really need it. I’d like to have a lot of money, there’s no denying that, but the question is how hard you’re willing to work for it.

9. What drives me?

What drives you? You must discover the answer for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but deciding which one to do may be the most difficult part. It’s not like you can only have one serving of your favorite food at a buffet. Simply take one step at a time.

10. Maybe That’s What Makes You Tick?

So, what do you think? What is it that makes you tick? You can be almost anything you’ve always wanted to be, but realizing that achieving something that appears difficult is already giving up before you even begin the journey. Always remember that self-improvement is about more than just the physical or philosophical changes you must make; it is also about something you truly desire.
